Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai visited the exhibition of Khadi and Village Industries Department org.zed on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium complex in the capital Raipur on Wednesday. She demonstrated her art on the wheel by making a clay bowl and also bought a Kosa saree with tattoo paintings made by local weavers. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, many activities including the exhibition of Khadi and Village Industries Department and the conclusion of Swachhta Hi Seva Fortnight were org.zed at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium today. During this, Chief Minister Shri Sai launched the campaign for prevention of malaria and dengue of District Administration Raipur and flagged off the military vehicle included in the military exhibition to be org.zed at the Science College Ground.

Chief Minister got TB test done with AI technology

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai got himself tested for TB using AI technology and received his report within 2 minutes. The Chief Minister was found normal during investigation. He appreciated this special initiative of the district administration and said that more and more people should get tested for TB so that it can be effectively prevented.

Chief Minister inspected various stalls

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai visited various stalls set up in the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium complex on the occasion of the conclusion of Swachhta Hi Seva Pakhwada 2024. During the inspection of the stalls of Raipur Municipal Corporation, he took information about the plastic free s.tary napkins made by the women of Mauli Mata Self Help Group and presented the s.tary napkins to the Swachhta Didis present there. During this, the women of Samriddhi Mahila Self Help Group presented Dashang, incense sticks and decorated lamps made of flowers to the Chief Minister. He told the Chief Minister that these products are made from flowers offered in the temple. Appreciating the work of the women of the group, the Chief Minister congratulated them and congratulated them. Chief Minister Sai presented cleanliness kits to the s.tation workers and asked them to work safely.

The Chief Minister visited the stalls of Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board, Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board, Chhattisgarh Matikala Board and Silk Department under the Khadi and Agro Industries Department, set up on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. He also bought a Kosa saree with tattoo painting art prepared by Devanand Dewangan, who was awarded the State Award by Sant Bisahu Das Mahant of Bilaigarh. The Chief Minister tried his hand on electric chalk and prepared a clay bowl and presented electric chalk to 5 clay artisans. Gajanand Dewangan, who came from Seoni, presented a shawl made of Kosa to the Chief Minister in the stall of the Handloom Division. The Chief Minister thanked Devangan for the gift.

It is noteworthy that under the Mulberry Silk Bari Scheme, re-reeling machine, natural cocoon multiplication camp, foundation reeling machine were demonstrated by the departments. During this period, information about Mulberry silk, Daba and Tussar silk is also available.
