Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Nod To Government Employees’ Demand For Health Insurance Benefits |

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): At a felicitation programme here on Sunday, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav accepted government employees’ demand for health insurance benefits.

The Madhya Pradesh State Employees Association organised the event to felicitate the CM for taking employee-friendly decisions last month.

Speaking at the event, the CM said that his government is committed to the welfare of employees and, as was promised, is solving their problems in a phased manner.

Elaborating on government decisions, he pointed out that the Dearness Allowance of employees has been increased to be on par with that of the Central government. Along with this, he said the nine-year-old demand for House Rent has also been fulfilled. Additionally, a transfer policy is being implemented to accommodate the needs of officials’ families.

A special campaign is also underway to fill vacant posts. All posts have been filled in the police department, and sanction has been given for a police band in all districts, he said.

Additionally, vacant positions will be filled through the annual Public Service Commission examination. Housing facilities for employees are also being prioritised, he said. A public bus service is set to start shortly in the state, Yadav added.

At the event, the CM allotted 3,000 houses, constructed in the New Market area, to employees. He also permitted the provision of Jeevan Jyoti Insurance and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana to anganwadi workers, mini anganwadi workers, and anganwadi sahayikas.
