Raipur: Reservation processes for the posts of Mayor in Municipal Corporations and Presidents in Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats, which were scheduled to be held on December 27, have been rescheduled.
As per the Chhattisgarh government new instructions , the reservation processes for the posts of Mayor in Municipal Corporations and Presidents in Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats will be held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium Raipur on January 7, 2025.
The reservation process is scheduled to begin at 11 am.
In this regard, Director of Urban Administration and Development Department, Government of Chhattisgarh Kundan Kumar has issued a notification on Thursday.
According to the notification, the seats of Mayors and Presidents will be reserved under the provisions of Chhattisgarh Municipalities (Reservation for the posts of Mayor and President) Rule-1999.
