Chhatarpur, 29 November (HS). The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, has come to an end. The yatra, which started from Tigaila on Friday morning, reached Ramraja temple of Orchha. Here Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri hoisted the religious flag after the worship. This nine-day long march ended with recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. Thousands of people participated in the padyatra along with Pandit Dhirendra Shastri. Women and men were dancing and singing to the DJ along with the tableaux. Slogans of Jai Shri Ram kept being raised to the tune of cymbals and manjire.
Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that the Padyatra is not just a religious event but an effort to make the society aware and propagate Hindu culture. The journey was successful due to the blessings of Ramraja government. He appealed that all the people coming by private vehicle, bus and train should stop there and watch the journey live.
Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra has reached the last stop i.e. Ramraja Temple of Orchha. There is a crowd of devotees in the temple premises. The end of this padyatra will be announced here along with recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.
SP Rai Singh Narwaria said that adequate number of police forces have been deployed to maintain security during the yatra. Arrangements for parking, food and rest are being maintained. Our aim is to ensure that no one faces any problems. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri reached the Martyr Memorial and garlanded the statue of Chandrashekhar Azad. During this, the pedestrians raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. The people participating in the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra remained participants throughout the journey in a disciplined manner. After Azadpura, the pilgrims also visited Shaheed Chandrashekhar Memorial.
