Sheopur (Madhya Pradesh): A video showing a cheetah wandering on the street has gone viral on social media. The clip shows the big cat walking care-free on the roads of Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur as a passenger in the car behind captures the rare moment on the mobile phone.

It is said that Cheetah Vayu fled the enclosures of Sheopur-based Kuno National Park and was spotted in the residential area of the city on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tamanna Khan, a woman resident of Crusher Colony, told the Free Press that the cheetah reached the stadium at night, causing panic among residents.

Another resident, Girraj, said that the cheetah hunted a street dog for its breakfast after a long walk.

Notably, two cheetahs named Agni and Vayu were released in the open forest of Kuno National Park by the officials of Kuno Forest Division. Both of them were released in different directions from the reserve zone of Kuno; however, they escaped the fence. The Kuno National Park officials are expecting them to return soon.

Notably, Vayu was spotted near Veer Savarkar Stadium on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, his location was near Bela Bhimlat village, and in the afternoon, it reached Bhela Bhimla village, near Kuno National Park.

It was reported that Cheetah Vayu, which had left Kuno National Park four days ago and reached the urban area, has changed its location multiple times. The leopard also hunted a female swan to satisfy its hunger.
