The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the results for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2024 on its official website, apsc.nic.in. The final merit list can be accessed in PDF format on the portal.

In the open category, Chiranjeev Phukan secured the top position in the APSC exam, followed by Anisha Buragohain in second place and Himadri Jita Bora in third. In the reserved category, Gaurab Dutta topped the list, ranking 13th overall.

How to Download the APSC CCE Final Result:

1. Visit the official APSC website: apsc.nic.in

2. Click on the result link.

3. A PDF file will open on your screen.

4. Check for your name and roll number.

5. Download the file and print it for future reference.

The APSC CCE is conducted in three stages:

1. Preliminary Exam: This objective-type exam consists of two papers, General Studies I and General Studies II, each worth 200 marks, with no negative marking.

2. Mains Exam: This exam is conducted offline and includes six papers: one essay paper, four general studies papers, and one language paper, totaling 1500 marks.

3. Interview: The final stage is an offline interview test worth 180 marks.

The APSC CCE Mains exam took place from July 26 to July 28 in two shifts: morning and afternoon. The schedule was as follows:

– July 26: Paper 1 (Essay) and Paper 2 (General Studies-I)

– July 27: Paper 3 (General Studies-II) and Paper 4 (General Studies-III)

– July 28: Paper 5 (General Studies-IV) and Paper 6 (General Studies-V)

Interviews were conducted from November 13 to November 29 in two shifts: the first shift from 10 AM to 1 PM and the second shift from 2 PM onwards.

The APSC CCE exam prepares candidates for various roles, including Assam Civil Service (ACS), Assam Police Service (APS), Assam Finance Service (AFS), Assam Labour Service (ALS), Assam Taxation Service (ATS), and other related services.
