TN +2 Results 2025: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) will release the TN +2 Results 2025 shortly. Along with the TNDGE Class 12th results 2025, the board is also expected to announce the TN HSC top districts details.

In order to pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exams successfully, students need to get a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks for every subject. For language tests and theory-based subjects with no practicals, at least 25 out of 90 marks are needed. In vocational courses that have practicals alone, students should have a minimum of 20 out of 75 marks in the practical test.

Overview of the Grading System

A1 Grade: Given to students with a mark of 90% and more

A2 Grade: For students with 81% to 90%

D Grade: Awarded to students with a mark in the 35%–40% category

E Grade (Fail): Given to students whose marks are less than 35%

Students who fail to achieve the minimum passing marks will have to appear for the supplementary exams, typically conducted in July. The precise dates will be notified after the result announcement.

Students who are not satisfied with their marks or suspect that there are mistakes in their TN 12th Result 2025 can opt for re-totalling of marks. This provides students with the assurance that their marks were accurately calculated.
