Harmanpreet Kaur, captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, along with former BCCI secretary Jay Shah, recently unveiled the new Team India ODI jersey at the Board’s headquarters in Mumbai. It will make its on-field debut during the India-West Indies bilateral series, starting December 22, 2024, with the Women’s Cricket Team. The Men’s Cricket Team will then wear the same jersey at the ICC Champions Trophy in early 2025.

The new design features a full Indian flag on the shoulders and a predominantly blue colour scheme, with the iconic adidas three strips now back in white colour.Crafted with advanced technology to meet the demands of international cricket, the jersey features a jacquard base fabric with a terry loop pattern for comfort during long matches.
Climacool+ technology ensures quick sweat absorption, while the jersey’s cut-and-sew details improve durability. A notable highlight is that the jersey is made from 100% recycled materials, reflecting Adidas’ commitment to sustainability.

Since getting sports apparel manufacturer Adidas as their kit sponsor in 2023, India have tried to keep their jerseys updated on a regular basis.
