Pune: Check Out The Lineup For The 70th Edition Of Sawai Gandharv Bhimsen Mahotsav, Happening From December 18-20 | Instagram/sawaigandharva

Pune’s iconic and revered music festival, the Sawai Gandharv Bhimsen Mahotsav, will be held from December 18 to 22 at the Maharashtriya Mandal Krida Sankul in Mukundnagar. Organised by the Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, the lineup of the festival was released recently.

December 18 (starts at 3pm):

December 19 (starts at 4pm):

Sangeeta Katti-Kulkarni – Vocal

Anupama Bhagwat – Sitar

Venkatesh Kumar – Vocal

December 20 (starts at 4pm):

Mohini (Music Group) – Sahana Banerjee (Sitar), Savani Talwalkar (Tabla), Anuja Borude-Shinde (Pakhawaj), Ruchita Kedar (Vocal) & Aditi Garade (Harmonium)

Sharing insights about the festival, Shrinivas Joshi, Executive President, Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, said, “The Mahotsav, initiated by my father, Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi in honour of his guru Sawai Gandharva, has provided a platform for countless stalwarts to showcase their art.
