The SBI PO Prelims 2025 exam will be held on March 8, 16, and 24, 2025, in four different shifts at various exam centers across the country. As the SBI PO exam 2025 begins tomorrow, aspirants should note that the online preliminary exam consists of objective papers totalling 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour. Vishal Kumar, who cracked the SBI PO exam in 2022, shares last-minute preparation tips:
– As it is a Prelims exam, here you will face a paucity of time because Prelims is a game of speed. Here you need to read 100 questions in 60 minutes and at the same time attempt as much as possible.
– Don’t set any kind of targets before exams because exams will be held in multiple shifts. Your focus should be solely on solving as many questions as possible.
– English will play a decisive role considering 40 marks out of 100 will be from the English section only. So if you are good at this subject, you will definitely get an edge.
– Make a checklist of the required documents you need to take to the exam centre to avoid the last-minute rush.
– In the exam hall be very calm and relaxed. This is just a prelim exam. Panicking will kill your chances of selection.
– If you get stuck in any question, just skip it. There will be trap questions. Don’t take questions on your ego.
– In the Quantitative Aptitude section – first solve the Simplification, Quadratic Equations and Number Series questions and then Data Interpretation questions.
– In the Reasoning section do not start with the puzzles and Seating Arrangement. First, try to attempt the miscellaneous section.
– If you get the feeling of tough questions, don’t panic because if it is tough for you, it is tough for everyone. There will be normalisation so just focus on the doable questions (your strong topics)
– Those appearing for the exam for the first time, don’t feel underconfident. A lot of students have cleared the exam in their first attempt.
