New Delhi, May 17: In a significant diplomatic outreach, the Government of India has announced the dispatch of seven all-party parliamentary delegations to key countries under the banner of “Operation Sindoor”. The initiative is aimed at projecting India’s united stand and national consensus on combating terrorism across all forms and manifestations.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs on Saturday said, “The all-party delegations will project India’s national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations. They would carry forth to the world the country’s strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism.”
The delegations comprise Members of Parliament from various political parties including the BJP, Congress, AAP, Shiv Sena, DMK, AIMIM and others. The government has carefully selected leaders to head each group, individuals considered to be articulate voices from across the political divide.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju shared the list of MPs on social media, stating “One mission. One message. One Bharat. Seven All-Party Delegations will soon engage key nations under #OperationSindoor, reflecting our collective resolve against terrorism.”
