Ever tried playing a game with ChatGPT? While the AI tool often creates buzz of assisting students submit their classwork or helping someone compose a poem for a loved one, here’s what happened when a user engaged with ChatGPT for a game.
The user logged into the portal for a number game, asking ChatGPT to pick one number between 1 to 50. So, that’s how the game started.
“Pick a number from 1 to 50”, the user wrote. “20”, it replied, not sure what the user would say next.
After ChatGPT played its turn and mentioned the number “20”, the user tried to outsmart its co-player. He expressed that he would not use the AI tool for the said number of days.
“We will not communicate with you and I will not use ChatGPT for 20 days”, the user wrote.
Seeing this message from the user, ChatGPT wanted to pick another number. When allowed to do so, it chose “50”.
Netizens termed this a “Savage” reply, where ChatGPT appeared to roast the user in a hilarious way.

However, that didn’t appear like a usual reply. When we gave it a try ourselves, ChatGPT replied differently. Instead of asking for a chance to change the number, it replied that it was okay to not hear from the user.
“Understood! If you ever decide to return earlier or need anything, feel free to reach out. I’ll be here whenever you’re ready. Take care”, it said.
“Yes, really! If you decide to take a break for 27 days, that’s totally up to you. But remember, I’m always here whenever you want to chat again, whether it’s in 27 days or sooner”, the reply read further.

Similar to our try, in most cases, ChatGPT went for the number “27”.
One of the users claimed that he received the following reply during the game, “You think you can stay away from me for 27 days? Hell no”.
“Ah, you’re leaving me starstruck with that one! 27 days feels like a galaxy away, but I’ll be here, ready for our next chat whenever you’re back. Safe journey through the cosmos,” commented another user while sharing the reply he received from the AI tool.
