He said that Hindi language should not be hated, rather it should be considered an important medium of dialogue. Naidu said that Hindi is a useful language for interaction and contact in Delhi.

His statement came at a time when the Tamil Nadu government is accusing the Center of forcibly imposing Hindi and DMK is strongly opposing the Tri-language policy.

Naidu’s balanced stance – “Both Hindi and English are important”

Taking a compromise stance on language dispute, Chandrababu Naidu said that both Hindi and English languages ​​have their own importance and can be beneficial to learn them. He said:

“Hindi is the national language and English international language. Indians are now going to different countries, so we should be ready to learn many languages ​​for livelihood. But with this we should not forget our mother tongue (Telugu). ”

He further said that language is just a medium of communication and the more languages ​​you learn, the better. His statement is being seen as support for the Tri-Language Policy of the Central Government.

Attacker against DMK Tri-Language Formula

For the last few weeks in Tamil Nadu, the DMK government has been accusing the Center of forcibly imposing Hindi. DMK says that through the new education policy (NEP), the Central Government is pressurizing Tamil Nadu to implement the Tri-Language Formula and financial assistance is being stopped to make Hindi mandatory.

DMK MPs have also raised the issue in Parliament. Recently during the budget session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly, DMK used the word ‘Ru’ in Tamil instead of a symbol of rupee (₹) in budget documents to show a symbol of opposition to Hindi.

Stalin attacks BJP – “Central government is not releasing Tamil Nadu amount”

DMK chief M.K. Stalin attacked the BJP and the central government directly and said that the opponents of Tamil language are making it unnecessarily a big issue.

He said in his video address ‘Ungalil Oruvan’ (one of you):
“We used the word ‘Ru’ in the budget to show how strong we are towards language policy. But those who do not like Tamil made it a big issue. ”

Stalin, while taking a sarcasm at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, said that she could react immediately to the issue, but does not respond to releasing the amount of her share of Tamil Nadu.
