Material:
- ½ cup sampur rice (barnyard millet)
- 1 boiled potato (chopped)

- 1 green chili (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon desi ghee
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 4-5 curry leaves (optional)
- ½ tsp rock salt (rock salt)
- 2 cups of water
- Some coriander leaves (for decoration)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (for good taste)
preparation method:
- Wash the Samak rice thoroughly and soak it for 10-15 minutes so that it cooks quickly.
- Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a pan, add cumin and green chili and fry it. Add curry leaves to excess taste.
- To enhance the taste, add chopped potatoes and carrots and fry for 2 minutes.
- Mix roasted peanuts and soaked symmetry rice in it and shake gently.
- Add 2 cups of water and rock salt and cover it on low flame for 10 minutes.
- When the khichdi gets the desired thickness, turn off the flame.
- Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with hot yogurt, makhana kadhi or falahari chutney.
