“Chaitra Navratri 2025: Know the auspicious time of establishment of Kalash, worship method and fast”

Chaitra Navratri 2025 will start from Sunday, March 30. On this day, devotees will keep the first fast and will start the worship by establishing the Kalash. According to religious beliefs, the Kalash should be established on the first day of Navratri in the auspicious time, as it is considered a symbol of pilgrimages and deities.

Chaitra Navratri Puja Vidhi (Navratri Puja Vidhi)

1. Take a bath in the morning and clean the temple.
2. Do the Kalash in the auspicious time.
3. Anoint Maa Durga with Ganga water.
4. Offer Akshat, red sandalwood, chunri, white and red flowers to the mother.
5. Offer fruits, flowers and tilak by Jalabhishek of Gods and Goddesses.
6. Offer fruits and sweets to the mother as an indulgence.
7. Light a lamp of incense and ghee in the temple of the house.
8. Read Durga Saptashati or Durga Chalisa.
9. Put camphor and cloves on betel leaf and perform the aarti of the mother.
10. Finally apologize to your mistakes from Maa Durga.
