Chaitra Navratri worship method
Wake up early in the morning and take a bath and clean the house and temple.
Bath the statue or picture of Maa Durga with Ganga water.
Offer Akshat, red sandalwood, chunari and red flowers.
Ghathapana and fill the urn and place coconut on it.
Light a lamp in the temple and offer incense and lamps.
Read Durga Saptashati, Durga Chalisa and Goddess Mahatmya.
Offer prasad to the mother – Puri, gram, pudding or kheer.
Perform havan-worship and perform the aarti of the Goddess Maa.
Perform aarti by burning camphor on betel leaf and praying to mother.
