Biscuits and FMCG sector giant Britannia Industries has seen a big management movement. The company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director Rajneet Singh Kohli have resigned.
Kohli will be free from his post on 14 March 2025.
The company confirmed this on Thursday, 6 March.
Why did Rajneet Singh Kohli resign?
Kohli has explained the reason for his resignation to ‘take advantage of external opportunities’.
In September 2022, he became CEO of Britannia.
Prior to this, he has worked with Jubilant Foodworks, Asian Paints and Coca-Cola.
His tenure as a CEO of Britannia saw a stable increase in the company’s performance.
Share declines after CEO’s resignation
The news of Britannia Industries had an impact and fell to ₹ 4,653.05 on BSE to 1%.
The company has a 52 -week high ₹ 6,473.10 (October 2024) and low ₹ 4,506.50 (March 2025).
CEO’s sudden resignation increased uncertainty among investors, showing a decline in stock.

Net Profit: ₹ 582 Crore (Annual Growth of 5%)
Profit in the same quarter of last year: ₹ 556 crore
