Mumbai: Central Railway has announced 986 Summer Special trains including 278 unreserved trains till date, in addition to its regular trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the summer season.
Central Railway had earlier announced 854 services of Summer Special Trains and will now run an additional 132 services for the benefit of passengers.
The details of additional 132 Summer Special trains are as under:
CSMT- Khurda Road Weekly Specials (26 services)
01049 Weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11.05 hrs every Saturday from 05.04.2025 to 28.06.2025 and arrive Khurda Road at 00.55 hrs on third day.(13 services)
01050 Weekly special will leave Khurda Road at 02.30 hrs every Monday from 07.04.2025 to 30.06.2025 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 12.55 hrs next day.(13 services)
Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Vikarabad, Secunderabad, Guntur, Vijaywada Jn, Rajahmundry, Samalkot Jn. Pithapuram, Duvvada, Kottavalasa Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur and Balugaon.

7. Pune-Indore Weekly Specials (28 services)
09323 Pune – Indore Weekly Special, earlier notified to run up to 20.03.2025, is now extended from 27.03.2025 to 26.06.2025.(14 services)
09324 Indore – Pune Weekly Special, earlier notified to run up to 19.03.2025, is now extended from 26.03.2025 to 25.06.2025. .(14 services)
There will be no change in the days of run, timings, composition, and halts.
Reservation:
Bookings for Special train No. 01049, 01065, 02188, 01405, 01429, 01430 and 01668 on special charges will open on 31.03.2025 at all computerized reservation centers and on website www.irctc.co.in.
Bookings for the extended services of special train 09323/09324 on special charges is already open
Tickets for Unreserved Coaches can be booked through UTS with normal charges for unreserved accommodation as applicable for superfast Mail / Exp trains.
