Mumbai: The Central Railway, Mumbai Division, has announced a mega block on Sunday, May 11, for essential infrastructure maintenance and safety-related work. The mega block will affect services on both the Main Line (Matunga to Mulund) and the Harbour Line (Kurla to Vashi) during specific hours. The block starts from 11:05 AM to 3:35 PM on the main line.

Down Local Services:

Trains departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 10:36 AM and 3:10 PM will be diverted to the Down Slow Line at Matunga. These trains will halt at their respective scheduled stops between Matunga and Mulund and are expected to reach their destinations approximately 15 minutes later than the scheduled time.

Trains proceeding beyond Thane will be redirected to the Down Express Line at Mulund.

Up Local Services:

Trains departing from Thane between 11:03 AM and 3:38 PM will be diverted to the Down Slow Line at Mulund. These services will stop at all scheduled stations between Mulund and Matunga and will be rerouted to the Up Fast Line at Matunga. These trains are also expected to be delayed by about 15 minutes.

Harbour Line Mega Block: Kurla – Vashi (Up and Down Harbour Line)

Timing: 10:40 AM to 4:40 PM

Down Harbour Services:

All services from CSMT to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel between 9:48 AM and 4:08 PM will remain cancelled.

Up Harbour Services:

Trains from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi to CSMT between 9:53 AM and 4:10 PM will also be cancelled.

Alternative Travel Arrangements:

In addition, Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via the Thane–Vashi/Nerul route between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance to avoid any difficulties.
