On Saturday, central forces personnel opened fire inside a booth inside a polling station in Nadia amid the killing of 15 people at the center of panchayat election polling across the state. The incident took place in Hathishala of Nadia. In Hathisala Gram Panchayat area of ​​Nadia, there was a ruckus since the beginning of the voting process. Voting was going on in the primary school there.

The BJP alleged that Trinamool-backed miscreants hurled bombs randomly in front of the booth. The sound of the bomb spread p.c in the area. Most of the voters did not go to the polling booth due to fear. On the other hand, the tussle between the Trinamool and the BJP continued at the booths as well. There was a scuffle between the two parties to loot the ballot papers. In the end, the jawans brought the situation under control by firing at the booth. However, there is no news of any casualty. The BJP alleged that Trinamool-backed miscreants hurled over 20 bombs at the central forces. However, the Trinamool has rejected the allegation. He said that BJP is spreading unrest in the area.
