New Year of Mars: Although there is still some time for the New Year to arrive for all of us, but our neighboring planet Mars has started celebrating its New Year. What actually happened is that Mars has completed one more revolution around the Sun, which is much more than Earth. The Earth completes one revolution around the Sun in 365 days, 6 hours and 9 minutes, but Mars takes 687 Earth days to complete this revolution. Last time Mars celebrated its new year on 26 December 2022.

Actually, NASA has shared a post on its official social media platform Twitter. It reads, “Happy New Year on Mars! The year is longer on Mars, because it takes longer to revolve around the Sun. The Perseverance Rover present on Mars also took part in the celebration.
Possible signs of life!
“This is my second solar orbiter, and I look forward to even more discoveries on this planet,” NASA quoted him as saying. Perseverance landed on Mars in February 2021 and has been searching for possible signs of life there since then. In its video, NASA also remembered the Curiosity rover, which landed on Mars in 2012 and is still hard at work.
