The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is giving affiliated schools one last chance to create websites and upload crucial information, including teachers’ qualifications and documents, as part of the mandatory public disclosure.

In recent circular CBSE Board mentioned, “In some cases, it is observed that schools have though uploaded the desired information/documents but the links to these documents are inactive. Few schools have although uploaded the prescribed information/documents, but the icon/link of the same is not prominently displayed on its Main Home page.”

Despite issuing circulars on March 5, 2021, and a reminder on May 21, 2021, many schools still lack functional websites or have incomplete information. Some of the schools have uploaded the required documents, however, the links are not active, or the information is not easily accessible on the website.

The CBSE board urges non-compliant schools to make all efforts to do the required in the next 30 days. They must peruse the circulars, upload all necessary information, and it must be available on their websites. They would be dealt with and required procedures if not adhered to.

Even the ones that are complying have been told to revisit their website, ensure all information uploaded is correct and then correct discrepancies.
