The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the registration deadline for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024. Eligible students can now apply for the scholarship through the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
New Deadline for Registration
According to the official notice, the last date to apply for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 scheme and its renewal for students who were awarded the scholarship in 2023 has been extended to January 10, 2025. Schools must verify the applications by January 17, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to single girl students who have scored 70% or more marks in their CBSE Class 10 exams and are currently studying in Class 11 or 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school. The student’s tuition fee should not exceed ₹2500 per month during the academic year in Class 10, and ₹3000 per month in Classes 11 and 12.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship will be awarded at ₹1000 per month for a maximum period of two years.
