CBSE Class 10th, 12th Practical Exam Dates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10th and 12th board exams are scheduled to be held in February. According to the board schedule, the board exams for class 10 and 12 will start from 15 February 2025. In which practical examinations will be conducted from January 1, 2025. Whereas theory examinations will start from 15 February 2025.
Practical examinations will be conducted till 14th February
CBSE Class 10 and 12 practical examinations will start from January 1, 2025 and will continue till February 14, 2025. In which practical examinations, project work and internal assessment will be conducted. However, with less than a month left for CBSE practical examinations, guidelines have been issued by the board.
Schools will have to upload marks
As per the practical exam guidelines, schools have to upload the marks online. Schools will have to compulsorily upload the marks of the students on the board’s website on the day of the examination. The board has instructed schools to complete the process of uploading marks along with practical examinations on time. The board has clarified that the date for uploading marks will not be extended.
Exams will be held simultaneously in India and abroad
As per the CBSE board exam guidelines, Class 10 and 12 practical examinations will be conducted simultaneously from January 1, 2025 in schools affiliated to the CBSE board in India and other countries. Along with the appointment of external examiner for the practical examination, distribution of answer sheets will be done as per the prescribed schedule.
Board released sample paper
CBSE Board has already released the sample paper. This sample paper provides accurate information about the board exam pattern and marking system of the year 2025. It also helps students to understand the nature and timing of questions coming in the exam. In such a situation, students who are going to appear in the CBSE board exam can download the CBSE board sample paper from the official website of the board, cbseacademic.nic.in. Students will not have to pay any fee to download CBSE sample papers.
33 percent marks required
It is mandatory for all students appearing in CBSE board exams to pass the practical exam along with being successful in the theory exam. If a student has passed the theory exam but failed in the practical exam, he/she will be considered failed. It is noteworthy that to pass the CBSE board examination, a student requires 33 percent marks in all subjects.
