Mumbai – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has removed Vidhi Mukherjee, daughter of Indrani Mukherjee, the main accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, from the list of witnesses. The agency handed over the final list of witnesses to the court for quick hearing, including 69 witnesses.
The CBI said that the witnesses of the government side will be questioned on priority basis, while others will also be questioned as per the requirement. In this way the lawsuit can be run quickly. The court asked the government to hear on a daily basis and submit a final list of witnesses.
The reason for the CBI in investigating the incident is probably the proximity to Indrani. As soon as Indrani was released from jail, Vidhi applied to live with her mother. However, the application was rejected after the CBI objected.
Vidhi is the daughter of Indrani’s second marriage to Sanjeev Khanna, from which she is Sheena’s step sister. He is an important witness, as the method allegedly told Indrani that he had to cut someone’s throat during the conversation. It is said that he knows about the conflict with Indrani, Sheena and Rahul (Peter Mukherjee’s last marriage).
Indrani, Khanna and her driver Shyamwar Rai are accused of killing Sheena. Sheena is a daughter born of Indrani’s former love affair. Indrani’s last ex -husband Peter was accused of knowing and joining the conspiracy.
