CBI-ED raid on former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel: Taking a major action in the morning, the CBI team raided Raipur and Bhilai, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The investigating agency has started raids on the residence of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the house of IPS officer Arif Sheikh.

According to reports, CBI can also raid Vinod Verma’s house. CBI officials reached Bhilai and Raipur residences in the morning. Earlier, the ED team also conducted raids at the same time.
In which case is raids being conducted?
The CBI had filed a review petition in the CD scam case. Earlier, the court acquitted Bhupesh Baghel in the CD scam case. The reconsideration petition is to be heard on 4 April. Before the hearing, CBI officials reached the residence of former CM Bhupesh Baghel.
