In the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the CBI has closed its investigation and closed the case. The investigating agency in its closure report has clarified that it was a case of suicide nor the actor was strangled nor poisoned. Along with this, Riya Chakraborty has also been given a clean chit.
Riya’s lawyer’s statement
Riya Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde reacted to the decision and thanked the CBI. They said,
“We are thankful to the CBI that he examined every aspect in depth and took a fair decision.”
Also, he condemned the false news of social media and electronic media. He said that during the Korona epidemic, several fake stories were coined, causing innocent people to face media trials and investigative agencies.

Advocate Satish Maneshinde said,
“I salute Riya Chakraborty and his family that he quietly endured all inhuman behavior and media trial.”
What was the whole matter?
On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his house. His family at that time had made serious allegations against his girlfriend Riya Chakraborty, in which a case related to economic irregularity and drugs was also revealed. The case was investigated by big agencies like CBI, NCB and ED. But now after the CBI’s closure report, Riya has been declared completely innocent.

It has been almost 5 years since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and now the CBI has presented its final report on this high-profile case. Following this decision, Riya Chakraborty has got relief from media trials and legal matters.
