CBI of Chandigarh Has made a major disclosure of corruption in the army’s Bikaner Cantt in Rajasthan. The company which was given a tender for the Army’s Bikaner Cantt Unit-365 to supply security equipment and other goods, took a bribe of three and a half percent commission. In which two percent commission was distributed among the officials of Integrated Financial Advisor Umashankar Kushwaha, South Western Command and one and a half percent commission was distributed among the officials of the Principal Defense Accounts Controller. A total of six people associated with the army were investigated.

Investigation lasted for two years

The CBI had filed a charge sheet in the CBI Court Chandigarh against Sana’s officers, jawans and owners of a Chandigarh company in this case which lasted for nearly two years. In the charge sheet, the CBI presented the role of all officers and soldiers in bribery and call recording.

Scam in giving a tender of Rs 24.77 lakh

The CBI investigation has revealed that JS Bedi, the owner of Chandigarh -based company ML agency, had invested Rs 100 crore. A tender of Rs 24.77 lakh was received. To get this tender, he had to pay 10 lakh rupees. The officers were given a bribe of Rs 87000 as a bribe. The CBI registered the case on the basis of a secret information. The CBI has also investigated the tender process for other works of the unit.
