Mumbai: The Cases have been registered against two individuals for posting objectionable WhatsApp statuses against Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The incidents were reported at Bhoiwada and Malvani police stations under charges of hurting religious sentiments.
About The Case
The Bhoiwada police have arrested a man named Anas Qureshi, who works as a salesman. According to the police, Qureshi had posted a WhatsApp status in support of Aurangzeb and against Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
Meanwhile, Shakir Beg from Malvani has been booked for posting an objectionable status about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on WhatsApp.The police are investigating further into the matter.
