Today the budget session of Delhi Assembly was going on, in which Pravesh Verma was also present. Meanwhile, he received a message on WhatsApp that the blue umbrella temple is being demolished. He immediately left the House and reached the spot and inquired about the situation from the officials.

Pravesh Verma shared information about this entire incident on his X (East Twitter) handle. they wrote,

“I received information from some brothers of Valmiki society that the temple at Yamuna Bazaar is being broken. From the assembly session directly here, spoke to the officials and took stock of the situation. I want to say clearly that not a single brick of the temple would be removed.”

During this time, he also shared a video from the spot and assured people that the temple would not be allowed to suffer loss under any circumstances.

Assurance given to reconstruction of the temple

Pravesh Verma said that he has talked to the officials and this temple will be built in a new way. They said,

“The temple will not only be kept safe, but it will be made in a new and grand form, which will make the devotees more happy.”

After his statement, the local people breathed a sigh of relief and appreciated his support in the fight to save the temple.

In Patparganj too, order to break three temples was issued

A few days ago, orders were issued by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to demolish three temples in Patparganj assembly constituency.

The DDA bulldozer arrived to break the temple at midnight, but the local people strongly opposed it. During this, Patparganj MLA Ravinder Singh Negi also reached the spot and stopped the action after talking to CM Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor (LG).

Seeing the situation deteriorating, DDA had to retreat and the bulldozer had to return.
