Due to which Rohit will be out of Perth Test. Jasprit Bumra will take over the captaincy in his place. This will be his second test as captain. However, Rohit will be included in the second Test to be played in Adelaide.

Team India has options in the form of KL Rahul and Abhimanyu Easwaran along with Yashasvi Jaiswal as the opening partner. Either one of these two can be tried. There are more chances of Rahul opening. He has recovered from an injury sustained during a match simulation.

New player at number three

Due to injury of Shubman Gill, the Indian team management will have to field a new face at number three. If Rahul comes out to open, then Dhruv Jurel can be sent up. It remains to be seen whether the team management will ask an experienced player like Virat Kohli to step forward. Devdutt Padikkal has been asked to stay in Australia. In such a situation, he can be sent to number three also.

 

Change in batting order also

Due to change in opening and batting at number three, the batting order of the Indian team will change. Two new players will play in the top 3. Apart from this, any other batsman can be fielded in place of Sarfaraz Khan at number five and six.

Debut of two players

According to the information received, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana can debut in the Indian team Perth Test. Harshit can be the third fast bowler of the team. At the same time, due to there being only one spinner, Nitish Reddy can be brought as an all-rounder.
