News India Live, Digital Desk: Cannes 2025: Actor Anupam Kher shared his photos while walking on the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on Thursday.On his Instagram handle, Anupam shared several pictures of his red carpet look while entering the auditorium for screening of films. The actor’s second directed film ‘Tanvi The Great’ is scheduled to be released on May 17 at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
Sharing the pictures, he wrote, “Red Carpet!”, Which indicates his arrival in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Meanwhile, Kher, who is sharing the moments spent at the festival with his fans, introduced two authors of his upcoming film ‘Tanvi The Great’ on his Instagram account, Abhishek Dixit and Ankur Suman.
In the video, Kher says, “… Here, our film Tanvi The Great is going to have a world premiere on the 17th. But I thought that I should introduce you to two other writers of this film. So, I introduce you to him first. This is Abhishek Dixit. And this is Ankur Suman ji.”
Kher has also posted several pictures from Cannes. Earlier in the day, the actor shared several photos wearing a suit. One of these photos also featured deburish actress Shubhangi Dutt, who is playing the role of Tanvi in the film.
He wrote the caption on the post, “You can try to look good in the cans! Isn’t it ??
Apart from Anupam Kher and Shubhangi Dutt, the film also has Khaki: The Bihar Chapter actor Karan Taker, who is ready to make his debut on the big screen after working on television and streaming platforms for years.
Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff and Arvind Swamy are in important roles, and the game of Thrones actor Ian Glenn is also part of the film.
Tanvi The Great has a sound design by Resul Pukutty, who is the Academy Award winning sound designer known for Slumdog Millionaire.
It has been built by Anupam Kher Studios in collaboration with NFDC. The release date of Tanvi The Great has not been announced yet.
