A new branch of Canara Bank was inaugurated on December 9, 2024, in Taloja Phase 2, Navi Mumbai, near Pendhar Metro Station. The branch was inaugurated by Rajshree Balaram Patil, Chairman of the Shetakari Kamgar Paksha Mahila Aaghadi. The event was further honored by the presence of Devendra Madvi, Agriculture Market Director, APMC, Panvel.
Distinguished attendees included Chief General Manager Sri Purshottam Chand, General Manager Alok Kumar Agarwal, Deputy General Manager Deepak Saxena, and Branch Manager Madhumita.
Earlier, Taloja Phase 2 area lacked a single bank, causing significant inconvenience to residents. However, with the opening of the Canara Bank branch, citizens will no longer need to travel outside Taloja Phase 2 for banking services.
