Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once again had to face a vote of confidence in the country’s Parliament. But he has registered victory in this. There was an attempt to remove him from office by his main rivals, the Tories. Trudeau defeated the Conservative Party’s re-election bid with 121 votes out of 207. Meanwhile, two small factions emerged in Trudeau’s minority government in Parliament. Trudeau’s government has been accused of failing to address the housing crisis, cost of living and rising crime, and of having the most centralized government in Canadian history.
