It is said in Hinduism that all three are already decided by birth, death and marriage. It is also believed that the relationship between husband and wife is decided by God and it is of seven births. But often the question arises that who will die before the husband and wife?
Calculation of death according to folklore
According to an ancient folklore, the number of names of the name and special calculation methods can be estimated who will lead to death before the spouse.

Calculation method
- Remove the number of letters of husband and wife’s name.
- Add both numbers.
- Add the letters separately.
- Do the total yoga by doubling.
- Divide this number by 3.
- If the remaining 0 comes, the husband will die first, if 2 comes, the wife will die first.
Example:
- Husband’s name God (4 letters)
- Wife’s name moon (2 letters)
- Total letters: 6
- Doubling number: 6+6 = 12
- Multiplicated by letters: 2+4 = 8
- On adding: 12+8 = 20
- Participating from 3: 20/3 → quotient 6, balance 2
According to this folklore, if the remaining 2 comes, the wife will die first, and if 0 comes, the husband will die first.
Is this recognition scientifically correct?
This is just a folklore and has no scientific basis. The time of death depends entirely on health, lifestyle and other factors. This method is only based on ancient beliefs and folklore, which can be seen as entertainment or traditional belief.
