The controversy has increased by IT sector’s leading company Infosys over the termination of about 400 trainee employees. The company defended the move, stating that the decision has been taken for trainees who have failed three times. Infosys clarified that this process has been in force for the last two decades, in which the trainees get three opportunities so that they can pass the assessment.
The company said in a conversation with PTI, “Each trainee is given three opportunities, and if they fail in these three, they cannot be a part of the company.”

The case is related to the Mysore Campus of Infosys, where these employees joined the company in September 2024. According to the Times of India report, the process of removing these employees was done in a very systematic manner. Employees were called to a 50-50 batch with laptops at 9:30 pm, and security personnel and bouncers were also present during this period.
The company’s move is being criticized, especially given that employees were given very little time to leave the campus. A female employee sought permission to stay at night, but was ordered to leave the campus by 6 am. The female employee said, “Where will I go?” Where do I go now? ” To this, the authorities replied, “Now you are not part of the company, we do not know where you go.”
Most of the affected employees were 2022 batch engineers, who took training in Mysore campus in Infosys.
Union NITES of IT employees has accused Infosys of threatening during the dismissal process. NITES president Harpreet Singh Saluja alleged, “The company used the bouncers and security personnel to intimidate and intimidate them, and did not allow them to keep mobile phones so that they could not record this incident or help anyone Can’t ask for. “
