Mumbai: The Byculla police on Friday detained three persons, aged between 19 and 20 years old, for the alleged murder of a history-sheeter. Though the body has not been found, the trio has confessed that they killed Faheem Sayyed alias Faheem Mach Mach, 42, for allegedly molesting the sister of one of them.
A probe was launched after Sayyed’s wife lodged a missing person complaint. According to officials, the trio confessed to killing Faheem, stuffing his body into a sack and dumping it in a nullah in Malad. Efforts are on to retrieve the body.
