Bus Rams Into Truck In Mandsaur; 3 Devotees Killed
Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): As many as three people, including a husband and wife were killed and two others injured after a bus carrying Maha Kumbh pilgrims rammed into a truck on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on Thursday. They were returning to Mandsaur, after attending Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj.
The deceased include a husband and wife, Kailashi Bai (54) and Kishori Lal (60), along with Ashok (35), a confectioner from Mandsaur. The injured, Chaman Lal and Parvati were treated at MBS Hospital in Kota.
The bus driver fled the scene and remains absconding. The bus, carrying 56 passengers departed Mandsaur on February 7 for Prayagraj. Passengers were reportedly asleep when the collision occurred, jolting them from slumber.
Youth Dies In Accident On Panchkavasa Bridge
Badnawar (Madhya Pradesh): A speeding car hit a youth on Panchkavasa Bridge on Badnawar-Ujjain four-lane road late last night, leading to his death on the spot. The victim was identified as Shivam Chauhan, resident of Malipura, Badnawar.
He had gone to the bridge with two friends where he and his friends parked their bike and were walking on the bridge when a speeding car came from behind and struck him forcefully. He was immediately taken to civil hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead.
Police registered a case and handed over the body to his family after post-mortem. His last rites were performed in Dhar. The deceased used to live on rent in Badnawar and was working at a mobile shop.
