Bus operations closed at power station intersection from May 1 in Agra, new system for passengers implemented

News India Live, Digital Desk: Bus services have been completely discontinued from May 1 from the power station intersection located in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh. Keeping in mind the safety, traffic system and urban development of passengers, the Transport Department has taken this decision. Now no roadways bus will come out nor stop from this intersection.

Why the decision of the Transport Department?

According to the report of the Transport Department, the power house intersection is no longer suitable for traffic operations. Therefore, bus operations from here have been closed permanently. The department believes that this will improve public safety and traffic management in the long term.

New operation site of buses

Buses running from power station bus stand will now operate from other major bus bases:

  • ISBT: Buses leading to Firozabad.
  • Idgah bus stand: Buses leading to Pinahat, Bah, Kachora, Jaitpur, Rajkheda and Mathura.

This change may cause some inconvenience to the passengers traveling towards Firozabad, Bah and Rajkheda, but it is considered necessary in view of long -term benefits.

  • See the information of boarding space carefully while booking tickets online before traveling.
  • Plan the journey keeping in mind the location, distance and travel time of new bus bases.
  • In the early days, there may be some temporary problems due to the new arrangement. For this, take extra time in advance.
