Sonbhadra, 20 September (H.C.). The bus going through Prayagraj with 65 devotees from Chhattisgarh overturned uncontrollably in the Markundi valley of Sonbhadra district. 25 devotees were injured in the accident. In which one woman’s leg was cut and the finger of the other person’s hand was cut.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the road accident in the district. He has instructed the officials to reach the spot immediately and expedite the relief work. Along with this, the injured have also wished for early recovery.
In this regard, the police officer city Dr. Charu Dwivedi said on Friday that 65 devotees from Kawardha village in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh had left for a double decker bus and left for Gaya via Prayagraj. The Vaishno temple in the district was stopped at Dala, where all the staff and passengers of the bus ate food. After that all the passengers left for Prayagraj sitting in the bus. As soon as the bus reached Markundi Valley at four thirty in the evening, then suddenly uncontrolled and overturned. There was chaos in the passengers when the bus overturned. On the information of the incident, Robertsganj Kotwal and Additional SP reached the spot with Police Force. The police rushed all the injured to the district hospital by ambulance.
Police officer Nagar said that in this accident, a female passenger’s leg and one hand finger of one have been cut. The rest of the passengers are out of danger.
