The death toll in Bangkok, Thailand, is 10, while hundreds of laborers are reported buried due to the collapse of an under -construction building. Therefore, the death toll can increase here.
Since Myanmar has been entangled in the civil war for many years, it is not clear how to provide help to many provinces. Red Cross said that the power supply has been disrupted due to the fall of electric poles due to the earthquake. Additionally, the relief work has become challenging due to the breakdown of roads in many places.
On the other hand, an under -construction building in Bangkok collapsed like cards in a few seconds and many laborers are feared to be stranded in the debris of the building. Defense Minister Phumtham Vachai said that three workers died on the spot and more than 90 were missing. Professor Ian Mann, a private president of earthquake science and shell physics at Geology School, Edinburgh University, said 10,000 to 100,000 people have been killed by earthquakes in both countries. The mosque collapsed in Mandala. More than 20 people have died while offering Friday prayers in this mosque. Apart from this, two other mosques and historical 90 years old Awa Bridge collapsed.
