The Manpada Police arrested two individuals and detained two minors for allegedly kidnapping a builder’s son and demanding a ransom of ₹2 crore for his release, police said on Friday. The arrested accused have been identified as Viren Patil, an auto-rickshaw driver, and his friend Sanket, while two minors were also involved in the crime.

Kidnapping and Ransom Demand
According to police, Kewalya left home for school at 7:30 AM in Viren Patil’s auto-rickshaw as usual. However, Bhoir later received a distressing phone call from an unknown individual claiming that his son had been kidnapped.
