BTS member Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V, has once again sent the internet into a frenzy despite being away from the limelight due to his military service. The global icon, who has been largely inactive on social media since his enlistment, recently surprised fans with a new update revealing a significant transformation in his physique.
Taking to Weverse on March 23, V reassured his fans about his well-being while sharing an insight into his fitness journey. In the post, the singer revealed that he has lost 10 kg and wrote, “But recently…! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10kg.. Hahahaha. I’ll try harder.”

Dressed casually in a grey top paired with brown wide-leg pants and a mustard-yellow beanie, he looked effortlessly stylish while flaunting his toned body. When will V be discharged from the military?
V enlisted for his mandatory military service in December 2023 and is expected to complete his service by June 10, 2025. He is currently serving alongside other BTS members who are also fulfilling their national duty as per South Korea’s military requirements, which range between 18 to 21 months.
Though fans eagerly await his return, they continue to show unwavering support, sending messages of encouragement. Until then, V’s latest update has reassured ARMY that he is doing well, and his commitment to fitness has left fans even more in awe of his dedication.
