Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a direct-to-mobile TV service called BITV for its customers. The service provides free access to more than 450 live TV channels. BSNL has introduced this service in partnership with OTT Play, so that mobile users across the country can use it without any extra fee.

BSNL announced on its official X (Twitter) account that customers with the cheapest voice-only plan of ₹ 99 could also use BITV for absolutely free. No additional fee will be required.
The step has been taken as per the instructions of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), which was asked to introduce a cheap voice-only plan.

- Benefits: Unlimited Free Calling (at any number in India)

2. ₹ 439 Plan
- Validity: 90 days
- Benefits: Unlimited Calling + 300 Free SMS

What is BITV?
Bitv is BSNL’s direct-to-mobile TV service, which allows customers to watch 450+ Live TV channels, web series and movies.
- There were 300+ free channels available in the trial phase, but now this service is working on all SIM cards of BSNL.
- This service will be available through the BITV app for smartphone users.
