The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued an important announcement on the dress code for the Class 12th exams, which will take place from February 1 to 5, 2025. The board has made the decision to allow pupils to wear shoes and socks throughout the test because of the cold weather.

In the past, students were not permitted to wear shoes or socks when taking exams.

To ensure that students feel comfortable throughout the winter, the regular exam regulations have been temporarily waived. However, the BSEB has said unequivocally that this exemption would be reviewed after February 5, 2025, and that suitable actions will be taken in view of the current situation.

Key Exam Details:

Exam dates: February 1 to 15, 2025

Exam timings: Two shifts – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Reporting times:

Second shift: Entry starts at 1:00 pm, main gate closes at 1:30 pm

In order to prevent missing the entrance dates, students are advised to follow the reporting times specified on their admit cards. The BSEB seeks to guarantee a seamless exam administration process and establish an atmosphere that encourages students to perform well.
