Nowadays many cases of breast cancer are coming up. But there is also good news for breast cancer patients amidst these increasing cases. Actually, a new drug was approved last Friday. This drug helps to slow down the spread of incurable type of breast cancer. This drug has been approved for use in the National Health Service of the UK Government.

This drug will prevent cancer from growing

Scientists have described the approval of CapivSterib by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) a historic moment. NICE said that more than 1,000 women suffering from HR-positive HER2-negative disease may benefit from taking pill twice a day every year. This drug is also known as Trukap. It is built by British pharmaceutical giant Astrajeneka. It helps to slow down or prevent cancer progression. This means that it can help some patients live longer.

This drug is less likely to cause damage.

NICE Medical Director Helen Knight said: “Treatment such as Caipwasarteb will be useful for people with advanced phase breast cancer, as it can be given despite limited options and may delay the need for chemotherapy and reduce the risk of loss.” In the advanced stages of breast cancer, some genetic mutations occur and they spread within breast tissues or other parts of the body. This pill works by blocking the action of abnormal protein that causes cancer cells to grow. The results of the clinical testing showed that the capewasortib and hormone therapy full -forth extended the time taken to deteriorate the cancer by about 4.2 months compared to the placebo and full -stest.
