Transport services and essential facilities like drinking water and toilets are also provided at Kurla LTT terminus and Dr. Ambedkar College in Wadala. Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani conducted a review of the arrangements made at Shivaji Park on Monday evening.
Prashant Sapkale, Deputy Commissioner (Zone 2), shared, “This year, we have made special arrangements for the convenience of the followers, including waterproof pandals. Additionally, to ensure a dust-free environment, we have installed dust-proof coverings along the pathways at Shivaji Park, covering an area of approximately 18,500 square meters. We have also implemented water sprinkling and sanitation measures to maintain cleanliness and comfort throughout the area. Special health check-up and treatment facilities will be available for followers on-site.” Last year, 13,824 followers benefited from these essential services.
