News India Live, Digital Desk: A doctor from Chhattisgarh has created an online stir by using Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s operation vermilion speech in medical awareness posts. Urinaryist Shivendra Singh Tiwari posted a message on social media to promote urinary health, including health advice as well as political comments.
Tiwari has borrowed the matter said by Prime Minister Modi after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’. It was an attack on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, killing 26 people. The Prime Minister, while referring to the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, said, “Blood and water cannot flow together.
The doctor gave this statement a medical turn. His post wrote, “Blood and water cannot flow together – Prime Minister.” Then he said, “So if you see blood in your urine, consult a urologist immediately. It can be serious.” The purpose of the promotional message was to raise awareness about potential urinary conditions, but it attracted comprehensive attention online.
Social media users found this post clever and fun. One user jokingly said, “The doctor has studied MBBS with MBA in marketing.” The other remarked, “This is a great example of ‘Chauka on the occasion’ (taking full advantage of the opportunity).” Someone else wrote, “When you use 100% of your mind.” Another wrote, “The right time to market yourself.” Another said, “Moment marketing.”
Although this post went viral, reports claim that Tiwari may now face disciplinary action to use a political quotation to spread medical awareness. However, no official statement has been issued by his Medical College or State Medical Council yet.
Meanwhile, the Government of India has taken several steps in response to the Pahalgam attack. These include suspending the Indus Water Treaty, shutting down trade through the Attari-Wagah border, cancellation of visa of Pakistani military advisors and banning imports from Pakistan.
