Ahmedabad: Reports of the global trade war increased after the announcement of tariffs by US President Trump today led to a decline in stock markets around the world including India, in response to which China and Canada also announced to impose counter tariffs. Trump remained firm on the tariff issue. Today, during the entire trading session at Mumbai Stock Exchange and NSE, both indices recorded a huge decline after a huge upheaval. Due to the decline in the Sensex, assets worth Rs 14 lakh crore were destroyed today.
The Indian stock market also opened with a major decline today after a huge decline in Asian markets due to tariff reports. In which the shares suddenly declined rapidly. Today, the Sensex fell by 3,940 points to a low of 71,425 in the day -to -day trading, while the Nifty fell by 1,160 points to a ten -month low to 21,743.
However, the market improved due to fresh purchases by funds at the lower market and it returned to its first lost level. However, at the end of the trading, the Sensex fell 2226.79 points to close at a low of 73173.90. While the Nifty fell 742.85 points to soft at 22161.60.
Investors’ assets (BSE Market Cap) fell by Rs 1,000 crore. The decline in the Sensex today caused a loss of Rs 100 crore. Rupee. 14.09 lakh crore rupees were washed away. 389.25 lakh crore rupees. Today foreign investors have invested Rs 1000 crore. 9440 crore rupees were sold, while local institutions were Rs. Rupee. New acquisition of 1,00,000 crore. 12,122 crore works were done. Today, 3515 shares out of a total of 4225 shares trading on BSE amidst heavy selling in smallcap, midcap and heavyweight stocks.
