Haryana local body election results: The BJP has won a stunning victory in the local body elections in Haryana. After the assembly elections, this election was like an examination for both BJP and Congress, in which the Congress has failed again. Congress defeat in Karnal
Manoj Wadhwa of Congress finished second with 58,271 votes in the election of Karnal Municipal Corporation, the hometown of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. BJP’s Renu Bala Gupta won here by 83,630 votes. This seat is Punjabi -dominated, where BJP is traditionally considered strong.
